Our

Mission

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to helping keep animals alive that might otherwise have led to a shorter life because funds were not available to provide the veterinary care, medicine, or medical support needed to prolong their lives.

We serve all types of animals within the USA and Canada.

Our Focus

We help animals in a medical crisis by providing the funds to the veterinarian, vet specialist, or veterinary hospital for life-saving medical care when an animal's owner cannot be identified or when the animal has insufficient financial support to keep them alive.

How It Works

1. Send us your veterinarian's written estimate, along with a short description of the animal's condition. Email info@animalsstayingalive.com.

2. We review the request quickly - usually within 12-24 hours - and contact the clinic to confirm the treatment plan and cost.

3. When a grant is approved we pay the veterinarian, veterinary specialist, or animal hospital directly, so treatment can begin right away. We never send funds to the requester.

Who We Help

We help dogs, cats, and other animals facing urgent, life-threatening emergencies - hit-by-car injuries, intestinal blockages, mass removals, orthopedic repairs, and similar crises - where treatment has a strong probability of giving the animal a good quality of life. We work with pet owners, rescue groups, and good-samaritan caregivers throughout the USA and Canada.

Since 2016, Animals Staying Alive, Inc. has funded $432,890 in veterinary care for 245 animals. We are a Texas charitable foundation, EIN 81-4734688, based in Leander, Texas. Grants are paid directly to licensed veterinary clinics.

Ways to Help

You can give once, give monthly, or ask your employer about matching gifts - a match doubles the impact of your donation. Every dollar goes toward veterinary care for an animal who would otherwise go untreated.
